Report: European club ‘want to get in touch’ about trying to sign Spurs player

BILD have reported on their Bayern Insider podcast that Bayern Munich ‘want to get in touch again’ with Harry Kane about a potential transfer to Germany (10/03/23 – via SportWitness).

The report claims that Bayern have not yet spoken to Kane in 2023 but will contact him during the summer if he does not sign a new deal with Tottenham.

Those in charge at the German club are reportedly concerned that Kane may not want to leave England even if he does part ways with his boyhood team this year.

Having said that, Spurs would likely be unwilling to strengthen a direct rival, such as Manchester United, creating somewhat of a stalemate.

90 min reported this month that Bayern want to sign the England captain, while The Sun reported that Man United are confident they can make the deal happen if Spurs miss out on the top four.

Spurs Web Opinion:

I’m sure a good handful of teams will be keeping an eye on Harry Kane’s situation, especially if his contract ticks down into the final year.

I am also sure that Tottenham will throw the kitchen sink at their star striker this summer in order to convince him to sign on the dotted line.
