Report: European giant fail with second approach for Spurs star

Paris Saint-Germain have failed with an improved offer in their bid to take Dele Alli on loan.

The Daily Mail claim that the French giants returned to the negotiating table with a £3million offer to secure the services of the England international for the duration of the current campaign, which did not include an option to make the deal permanent.

The report suggests that PSG were informed that the club have no intention of allowing Dele to leave the club during the current transfer window.

The 24-year-old was left out of Jose Mourinho’s side for three consecutive matches before appearing as a second-half substitute to score a penalty in Tottenham’s 7-2 win against Maccabi Haifi in the Europa League on Thursday night despite the club’s current hectic fixture schedule.

Dele was openly criticised for his attitude towards training by Mourinho during the All Or Nothing fly on the wall documentary which aired in August (The Sun).
