Report: European giant propose swap deal involving Tanguy Ndombele

Inter Milan have once again been linked with a move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.

The Frenchman only managed 61 minutes of football following the restart of the Premier League (transfermarkt) with reports indicating that his relationship with Jose Mourinho is still strained (The Athletic).

The midfielder has already been linked with a move to Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain (L’Equipe).

It now appears that Inter Milan are also keen on giving the 23-year-old a potential exit route from Tottenham.

Calcio Mercato first revealed that Antonio Conte has identified Tottenham’s record signing as the man to strengthen the Inter midfield ahead of a potential title charge.

Journalist Miguel Rico from Mundo Deportivo (via Sport Witness) has now claimed that Barcelona and Inter Milan are going head to head for Ndombele’s signature.

It is claimed that Conte wants the former Lyon man to replace Marcelo Brozovic, who is said to be surplus to requirements at the club.

The report suggests that Inter have offer Brozovic to Spurs in part exchange for Ndombele but it is not mentioned if such a deal would appeal to Jose Mourinho.

Spurs Web Opinion

Many Spurs fans seem to be convinced that Ndombele will come good if given an opportunity. However, there is no indication whatsoever that Jose is going to use him much next season, particularly if we strengthen the midfield in the summer. I suspect that the club might decide to sell him as his value will only come down even further if he spends another six months or a year on the bench.
