Report: European giant set to end interest in Spurs star despite player keen on move

Paris Saint-German are reported to be ready to end their interest in Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli.

The Telegraph claim that the French giants were invited to discuss the possibility of taking the England international on a season long loan but are set to step away from the negotiating table after failing to agree to financial terms over the arrangement.

PSG were hopeful that a deal could be reached, but it now appears that the 24-year-old will not be heading to Ligue 1 anytime soon.

Dele was reported to have been keen to make the move to the Parc des Princes with PSG boss Thomas Tuchel also eager to add him to his squad.

Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho admitted during his press conference yesterday that he expects Dele to remain in North London during the current transfer window while insisting the former MK Dons man will have the opportunity to impress (BBC).
