According to a report from the Bayern Insider Podcast (as relayed by Fussball Nachrichten), Bayern Munich remain keen to explore a move for Harry Kane ahead of next summer even though the Bundesliga club are aware it will not be easy.
The report alleges that the Bayern hierarchy are putting together a ‘precise plan’ to lure the 29-year-old to the Allianz Arena.
While the Bundesliga giants are said to be aware that it would be a ‘difficult mission’, the club’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic and CEO Oliver Kahn allegedly believe that their chances will improve the longer the Spurs star takes to sign a new contract in North London.
It is explained that although no talks have been held between the various parties until now, Bayern are expected to intensify their pursuit of Kane in the spring.
Football.London’s Alasdair Gold revealed back in October that the England captain is open to signing a new deal with Spurs and will open talks with the club when the time is right.

I suspect that the Tottenham hierarchy will be focused on tying Conte down to a new contract. Once they accomplish that, I expect them to push ahead with a contract offer for Kane. Spurs will be keen on getting a deal agreed with the striker’s entourage within the next couple of months so that the speculation over his future dies down ahead of the summer.
