Report: European giants could make Spurs star their main transfer target

According to a report in The Daily Mirror, Paris Saint-Germain are plotting a potential move for Harry Kane in the summer transfer window.

Kane is arguably playing the best football of his career at the moment, with the striker registering 21 goals and 14 assists in all competitions so far this season.

The striker’s future has been subject to much speculation over recent weeks, with reports indicating that Tottenham had slapped a £150m price tag on the 27-year-old’s head to ward off interest from Manchester United and Manchester City.

The Mirror now claims that PSG are ready to move for the Spurs striker if they lose Kylian Mbappe or Neymar in the summer, with Mbappe said to be a target for Real Madrid and Neymark being linked with a potential return to Barcelona.

The report reveals that Kane maintains a close relationship with Mauricio Pochettino and the pair frequently exchange messages on WhatsApp.

It is stated that Pochettino believes PSG would be an ideal destination for Kane as it would give the Spurs star the chance of the silverware he craves.

Spurs Web Opinion

PSG are one of the few clubs around Europe who could potentially afford to pay upwards of £150m for Kane, especially if they were to sell one of either Mbappe or Neymar. If we finish outside the top four and fail to win silverware this season, I fear the England captain could be tempted to leave.
