Report: European giants looking to loan out rumoured Spurs target

L’Equipe have revealed that Paris Saint-Germain could loan out rumoured Spurs target Gianluigi Donnarumma if they manage to complete a move for the goalkeeper.

Donnarumma, who is a free agent after his contract at AC Milan ran out, was rumoured to be on Tottenham’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window but PSG look set to win the race for Italy number one.

Some reports in the Italian press indicated that soon-to-be-announced Tottenham director of football Fabio Paratici made a last-ditch attempt to swoop for Donnarumma but was unable to beat PSG to the goalkeeper.

However, if L’Equipe are to be believed, Tottenham might still have a chance of signing Donnarumma on a temporary deal.

The report explains that while the 22-year-old is set to pen a five-year contract with PSG, he might not stay at the club this season.

With Keylor Navas and Sergio Rico already at the club, it is asserted that PSG are looking to loan out the former AC Milan star.

As things stand, Jose Mourinho’s Roma are said to be at the front of the queue to snap up Donnarumma on a season-long loan deal.
