Report: European giants ready to hold talks with Pochettino

According to a report in the Daily Telegraph, Bayern Munich are ready to hold talks with Mauricio Pochettino about taking over as their new manager just days after the Argentine was sacked by Tottenham.

Hans-Dieter Flick is currently serving as the interim head coach at the Bundesliga giants after they parted ways with Niko Kovac a few weeks ago.

Bayern are said to be keen on making Pochettino their new boss but it is claimed that the 47-year-old is not willing to make a decision on his next destination until the new year.

However, it is reported that waiting for a couple more months is not going to be a problem for the Bavarian club as they are keen on ensuring they land the former Spurs man.

It is suggested that Bayern’s sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic is prepared to have a discussion with Pochettino and allow him to get started at the club whenever he feels he is ready.

Spurs Web Opinion

For the job Mauricio Pochettino has done at Spurs, there is no doubt that he will have a whole host of offers to chose from in due course. He certainly deserves to manage at a big club and get his hands on silverware. A move to Bayern would be ideal for Spurs fans as it would be rather hard watching him manage another English club.
