Report: Everton want Spurs man on permanent deal; Crystal Palace interested in loan

Everton and Crystal Palace are both keen to take Dele Alli off the hands of Tottenham Hotspur before the transfer window closes later today, according to talkSPORT.

It is claimed that Everton, who have also secured the loan signing Donny Van der Beek from Manchester United want to sign Dele on a permanent deal.

Crystal Palace are instead interested in bringing the 25-year-old to Selhurst Park on loan for the reminder of the campaign after they had missed out on Van der Beek (Sky Sports).

It was reported earlier this morning that La Liga outfit Valencia were also considering making an approach for Dele before the end of the day (The Athletic).

talkSPORT‘s Alex Crook said: “Crystal Palace missed out on Donny van de Beek to Everton and it is my understanding Crystal Palace are now making a play to sign Dele Alli on loan,”

“Once again though they could find themselves up against Everton, who have also enquired for Dele Alli, and not just a loan move.”

It seems a formality that Dele will leave Tottenham at the very least on loan before the day is out. He needs to get his career back on track and if he still has the hunger within him to be a top player, he should be knocking Fabio Paratici’s door to do everything in his power to get him out of the door.
