Report: ‘Everything points’ towards £40m Spurs target leaving club on free transfer

According to Sky Germany, Corentin Tolisso looks set to leave Bayern Munich on a free transfer, with no contract talks currently on the table for the reported Tottenham target.

The French midfielder’s current deal with the Bundesliga club is set to expire at the end of the season which has put a number of clubs on red alert ahead of potential free transfer.

Reports recently emerged that Tolisso has started to attract a flurry of interest from a host of sides across Europe with the likes of Tottenham, Juventus, Inter Milan, Roma and Atletico Madrid all allegedly in the mix to scoop up a deal.

Now, Sky Germany report that ‘everything points’ towards an exit on a free transfer for Tolisso, with no negotiations for a new contract in progress.

The 27-year-old has endured a relatively injury-plagued stint at Bayern since joining the side in 2017 and has been limited to just four appearances in the Bundesliga so far this season.

Tolisso has achieved plenty of success with the German outfit, though, winning the league on four occasions, as well as two DFB Pokals and the Champions League in the 2019/20 campaign.

Spurs Web Opinion

Tolisso could be a potentially solid option to pick up, especially on a free transfer, but there are big question marks remaining regarding his fitness.

He is prone to injury and we know how unlucky Spurs are in that department, but this could be one to keep an eye on in the near future.
