Report: Ex-Chelsea manager may turn down Real Madrid due to hope of Spurs job

Tottenham Hotspur are struggling across the board this season, despite finishing in the top four and reaching the Champions League Final last time out.

Spurs are now 14th in the Premier League table and battling to stay away from relegation, rather than pushing for those Champions League spots.

In the Champions League itself, they are back on track after wins over Red Star Belgrade, but still lagging behind Bayern Munich after that humiliating 7-2 loss at home.

The FA Cup is Tottenham’s only source of domestic silverware chances after the club were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by League Two Colchester United.

The Sun have now reported that ex-Chelsea and Man United manager, Jose Mourinho, is keeping tabs on the Spurs job amidst pressure on Pochettino.

The report goes as far to say that Mourinho has confided that he may even avoid accepting a job back at Real Madrid due to the possibility of the Tottenham job.
