Tottenham are ready to make an offer for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to the reports from Italy.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claimed earlier in this week that Koulibaly is one of Tottenham’s most important transfer targets with Daniel Levy having a good relationship with the player’s representatives (Sky Sports).
Calcio Mercato now claim that Tottenham are primed to make an offer for the experienced centre-back.
It is suggested that the Koulibaly wants to leave Naples this summer and that the Serie A side are willing to let him leave if their asking price is met.
However, the report states that the Napoli star does not fancy a move to Spurs and instead wants to join one of Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, or Real Madrid.

In truth, the links to Koulibaly were always quite far-fetched considering the fact that he is the most in-demand defender in Europe this summer. It does look like he might be Liverpool bound as I cannot see either Real Madrid or Barcelona paying the kind of money it will take to sign him given their financial problems.
