The Sun have reported that Tottenham captain, Hugo Lloris has rejected a new contract offer from the club.
The French World Cup-winner has been at the North London club for nine seasons now and his current contract would run into a tenth.
However, Lloris would then be set to leave the club on a free transfer in the summer of 2022 at the age of 35. As such, his current market value for this summer is said to only be around £8m.
Lloris has been a steady pair of hands between the sticks for the best part of a decade for the Lilywhites, racking up over 370 appearances.
This season, in particular, Hugo has been the standout performer in a woeful rearguard for Tottenham with a save percentage of over 75%, the third-best in the league this season.
Fabrizio Romano has previously reported that Spurs will only make a decision on Lloris at the end of the season, however, if the Sun are to be believed, the Frenchman may not want to extend his stay.
