The print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport (29/10/22 as relayed by Sport Witness) has revealed that Antonio Conte has ‘repaired’ his relationship with Juventus president Andrea Agnelli, thus potentially paving the way for a return to the Allianz Stadium.
The report states that Juve are not expected to part ways with Massimiliano Allegri and are still hopeful he can turn things around.
However, the club are thought to be considering the idea of replacing the 55-year-old at the end of the season, with Conte said to be at the top of their wish list.
It is explained that the Juve hierarchy like the Tottenham boss since he has ‘Bianconero DNA’ and even add that the Italian has mended his relationship with Agnelli, which was previously broken.
The Old Lady reportedly believe Conte would be the ‘best possible guarantee’ to help the club rebuild the ‘Juve mentality’.
The report also adds that the Serie A giants think the squad would not need to be overhauled as the current group could adapt to the Tottenham head coach’s preferred formation and tactics.

The speculation linking Conte with a return to Juventus will not go away until the Italian puts pen to paper on a new deal at Spurs. However, I am confident that the 53-year-old will sign a new contract before the end of the World Cup as he seems fully invested in the project.
