Report explains what Levy has been forced to do due to Spurs fan complaints

The Daily Mail have revealed that Daniel Levy has had to change his email address due to the volume of complaints he has received from disgruntled Tottenham fans.

As expected, Daniel Levy has come under plenty of criticism once it emerged last week that Tottenham’s pursuit of Arne Slot fell through.

More than two months on from Antonio Conte‘s sacking, the North London club now appear to be no closer to finalising a successor for the Italian.

The Athletic even claimed last week that the Tottenham job is not as attractive as it once was, revealing that some within the game see the role as a ‘manager’s graveyard’ after the recent struggles of Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.

Needless to say, the fans have not been pleased with the recent developments, with The Mail now claiming that Levy’s inbox has been ‘inundated with complaints’, forcing the Spurs chairman to change his email address.

The publication reveals that the 61-year-old has taken control of the managerial search following Fabio Paratici’s exit and draws parallels between what is happening now and what occurred back in 2021 when the club eventually ended up with Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Mail even quite one Spurs insider as saying: “History is repeating itself. But this time without someone for him (Levy) to blame.”

There is no doubt that the criticism should be laid at the feet of Levy if we end up making an underwhelming appointment after passing up on Pochettino and failing to get the Slot and Nagelsmann deals over the line.

The longer it takes for the club to announce a new head coach, the higher the risk of us falling behind in the race for our top transfer targets, with some of our rivals already laying the groundwork for some deals.
