The Daily Mail have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are expected to finalise their top managerial candidate within the next fortnight.

It is explained that Tottenham have elevated their interest in Arne Slot over recent days, with the Dutchman said to be viewed as an ‘attractive option’ by Spurs chiefs.

The publication adds that Luis Enrique still remains ‘a serious contender’ for the hot seat, with the Spaniard potentially being viewed as a safer option than Slot, owing to his experience at top clubs.

The Mail state that after speaking to various candidates, the Tottenham hierarchy expect to have settled on their top candidate within the next two weeks.
