Report: Fabio Paratici a ‘big fan’ of £51m-rated Tottenham-linked forward

Tottenham managing director of football Fabio Paratici is thought to be a big fan of Everton forward Richarlison, according to the Mirror.

The Brazilian has made his desire to leave the club this summer known to the Toffees (Goal Brasil) after helping the club survive relegation from the Premier League.

A host of English sides have emerged as suitors for the 25-year-old, who scored 10 goals in the top-flight last season (Transfermarkt).

The Athletic reported that Tottenham are interested in signing Richarlison although are waiting to see if Everton budge from their €60 million (£51m) valuation, while Chelsea and Arsenal are also in the hunt (UOL).

But Spurs could push even harder to secure a transfer this summer given their lead recruiter Paratici is keen on the former Watford striker.

The Mirror has claimed the Spurs chief is an admirer of Richarlison which could make him a viable option to strengthen Antonio Conte’s squad ahead of next term.

The report explains Richarlison is keen on playing in the Champions League – something which Spurs can currently offer – while a deal could come together with Everton keen on outcast Harry Winks.

Richarlison would be a good signing given he can play across the front line, but the problem is the asking price that Everton are demanding.

Given that Paratici is supposedly a fan of him, he could well use someone like Winks as a potential sweetener in a deal to reduce the monetary valuation.
