Report: Fabio Paratici already knows his next four ‘transfer priorities’ at Spurs

Football.London’s Rob Guest has reported that Fabio Paratici already knows the positions of the next four incoming transfers he needs to sanction.

Spurs have started their business early in this summer’s transfer window, bringing in both Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan and Fraser Forster from Southampton on free transfers (Sky Sports).

This rapid approach will likely please Spurs boss Antonio Conte as he reportedly has his heart set on six new signings to bolster his squad ahead of next season’s Premier League and Champions League campaigns (The Telegraph).

Guest reports that Paratici has now turned his attention to signing a right wing-back, a left centre-back, an attack-minded midfielder, and a striker.

With one of Emerson Royal or Matt Doherty expected to be moved on this summer (Football.London), Conte will be hoping for another right-sided wing-back option.

An option for the Lilywhites could be Djed Spence. The Telegraph claim that Spurs are set to fight Nottingham Forest for the signature of the talented wing-back who is on loan with Steve Cooper’s men from Middlesbrough.

Football.London report that Conte’s top target in the left centre-back role is Inter Milan’s Alessandro Bastoni. The 23-year-old would likely command a fee of around £50 million.

The Sun report Spurs are also interested in bringing creative midfielder Christian Eriksen back to the club this window.

The Dane scored once and assisted four times for Brentford in an impressive return to Premier League football this season and could be available on a free transfer (TransferMarkt).

With Conte keen to bring in a player who can both provide back-up for and play alongside Harry Kane, Spurs have been linked with a number of options, including Napoli talisman Victor Osimhen (Mirror).

It is a refreshing change to see Spurs getting some business wrapped up early in the transfer window. This change of tactic will likely help Conte’s squad gel before the Prem resumes in August. There are some exciting names being linked to N17 and Paratici likely has more targets up his sleeve.
