Report: Paratici meets with Italian agent who represents Sandro Tonali among others

Tottenham Hotspur managing director of football Fabio Paratici has met with Italian agent Giuseppe Riso, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

The meeting took place in Forte dei Marmi, a seaside town in Tuscany, with Riso said to represent a number of Serie A players including Sandro Tonali, Davide Frattesi, Gianluca Mancini, Matteo Pessina and Bryan Cristante, Andrea Petagna and Nicolo Rovella, among others.

It was not reported which players were discussed as part of the meeting.

Paratici has reportedly been busy since the end of the Premier League campaign, and typically spends three days most weeks based out of the club’s training base in Hotspur Way, before jetting off to Italy to work the remaining hours from his office in Turin (Football.London).

SpursWeb Opinion

Given the ‘spiderweb’ approach Paratici has to transfer dealings, where he negotiates up to ten targets at any one time before narrowing his selection down, I would not read too much into the abovementioned names as being targets who are close to the top of Antonio Conte’s list.

It is likely to be a busy couple of weeks with incomings and outgoings as the north Londoners look to reshape their squad ahead of the pre-season tour to South Korea which takes place next month.
