Report: Fabio Paratici summer signing linked with loan move to France

Tottenham Hotspur summer signing Bryan Gil has been linked with a loan move to French outfit Nice.

L’Equipe claim that Nice are looking to bring in a winger during the current transfer window and have identified Gil, along with Anderlecht’s Francis Amuzu.

Gil made the move to N17 from Sevilla during the summer as part of a swap deal for Erik Lamela under the watch of Fabio Paratici (Football.London), and he has made 19 appearances in all competitions so far and is yet to find the back of the net (transfermarkt).

Last season, Gil enjoyed more regular first-team football having spent the majority of the season on loan at Eibar where he made 28 appearances in La Liga, scoring four goals and providing three assists (transfermarkt).

Gil has shown glimpses of his ability on the wing, most recently in his late cameo at Stamford Bridge in the Carabao Cup but does look someway off holding down a regular first-team place in north London.

Another loan spell for the second half of the season could be of benefit to the player to get regular game time under his belt.
