Report: Failed 2018 Spurs target ready to re-consider his future

Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish is considering leaving his boyhood club this summer if a big money offer is made.

The Telegraph claim that the Villa captain is likely to be one of the most sought after transfer targets at the end of the campaign.

Grealish has been at Villa Park since he was six and those close to him claim that he could be ready to call time on his time at the Premier League newcomers should a big club come calling.

The midfielder admitted in 2018 that he was disappointed that a move to Tottenham Hotspur failed to materialise following a £25million bid only for Villa’s new owners to block the transfer (Sky Sports).

Grealish believes that a switch to North London would have seen him break into the England squad before the end of 2018.

After an impressive campaign with Villa, he is still yet to win a senior cap for the Three Lions.

The report claims that both Manchester United and City are keen on the 24-year-old regardless of whether the Midlands outfit retain their Premier League status.
