Report: Five European giants interested in Spurs star – Including rivals Chelsea and Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur have a big problem with contracts in North London at the moment, with a number of first-team stars set to leave on free transfers in the summer.

Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld, and Jan Vertonghen are all into the final year of their respective contracts with the Lilywhites.

In fact, the trio can all talk to non-English suitors as early as January in just one month regarding potential pre-contract agreements for the summer.

While some may argue that none of the three are playing well for Spurs, losing out on transfer fees for three first-team players is a huge dent to the club.

Toby Alderweireld has started every game under Jose Mourinho so far, even if he does look worlds away from his defensive best at the back for Spurs.

A report from Don Balon now claims that Real Madrid, Chelsea, Arsenal, Inter Milan, and Bayern Munich are all interested in the Belgian centre-back.
