Report: Five more players Spurs could look to sign this January window

Tottenham Hotspur have finally introduced their first new face of the Mourinho era as Gedson Fernandes joined on an 18-month loan from Benfica yesterday.

Spurs apparently have an option to sign the 21-year-old in the summer of 2021 when the loan spell ends for a fee of just over £42m (Sky Sports).

With there still being just under half of the transfer window left to play out, Four Four Two have taken a look at five other players Spurs may look to sign this month.

Krystof Piatek – Spurs are without injured Harry Kane for the next few months and the AC Milan forward Piatek may be seen as a viable option for around £24m.

Thomas Lemar – His move from Monaco to Atletico has not gone as well as Lemar would have hoped, with Spurs being linked with a loan an option to buy deal. Four Four Two estimate a loan price of £5m and a purchase price of £50m.

Samuel Umtiti – Clean sheets and solid defensive performances have been a problem for Spurs this season and Jan Vertonghen has just six months left on his contract. World Cup winner Umtiti has been linked, with an estimated price of £20m.

Max Aarons – Spurs have long since had problems at right-back and Four Four Two believe Aarons could be available for just £30m.

Wilfried Zaha – When are Spurs not linked with this man? Four Four Two say £80m.
