Tottenham Hotspur’s pre-season is well underway now, with a number of first-team stars reporting for duty this week after enjoying their holidays (Tottenham).
The last time the squad was together, they were competing in the Champions League Final, before going their separate ways.
Some then went on to compete for their countries in qualifiers, the Nations League Finals, the African Cup of Nations, and the Copa America.
Some first-team stars such as Harry Winks, Ben Davies, Eric Dier, Erik Lamela, Lucas Moura, Paulo Gazzaniga, and more returned at the start of this week.
However, Pochettino is set to expect four of his biggest stars to arrive at Hotspur Way on Thursday or Friday (Daily Mail).
Christian Eriksen is said to be nearing a return, despite his comments about wanting a new challenge and a step up next season (Ekstra Bladet).
Vice captains Harry Kane and Jan Vertonghen are also said to be coming back to train this week, along with Toby Alderweireld, and a host of other names.
