Report: Four Premier League clubs want to sign player Spurs sold last year

According to 90min.com, West Ham United, Fulham, Crystal Palace and Southampton are all interested in signing former Tottenham Hotspur winger, Marcus Edwards.

Edwards, who came through the ranks at Spurs, was once even likened to Lionel Messi by Mauricio Pochettino but the wide man only managed to make one senior appearance for the Lilywhites.

He left North London to join Portuguese club Vitoria Guimaraes in the summer of 2019 and enjoyed a fantastic first season at the club, notching up nine goals and six assists.

The 22-year-old was linked with a return to Tottenham during the previous transfer window (Desportivo de Guimaraes via Record) but ended up staying put at Vitoria.

90Min now claim that Edwards is turning many heads back in England with his performances abroad.

Apart from the aforementioned four clubs, several Championship sides including Brentford, Bournemouth and Swansea are also said to be keen on snapping him up, while Portuguese giants Porto and Sporting CP are also showing interest in the winger.
