The Athletic have revealed that French starlet Eduardo Camavinga who is rumoured to be on Tottenham’s radar, could be on his way out of Rennes this summer.
Camavinga has won admirers since breaking into the Rennes side last season and the midfielder looks destined for the top.
The 18-year-old has already won three senior caps for Les Blues and has been linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Spurs were first linked with a move for the midfielder back in March of 2020 with Sport reporting that the Lilywhites were battling Liverpool for the youngster’s signature before Football.London revealed last summer that the youngster was on the North Londoners’ shopping list.
The Athletic have now revealed that Camavinga has decided not to sign a new contract at Rennes.
With the midfielder’s contract running out in 2022, it is claimed that the Ligue 1 club might have to sell him this summer or during the following January transfer window if they wish to avoid losing him for free.
