According to The Evening Standard, Gareth Bale is currently the most effective attacker per 90 minutes in the whole of the Premier League, with the Welshman outdoing every other forward in the country with respect to goals and assists per 90 minutes.

Bale netted braces against both Burnley and Crystal Palace recently to take his tally to five goals in the league this season, with the Welshman also notching up two assists.

That means that that the wide-forward now averages 1.26 goals or assists per 90 minutes in the 501 minutes of league football he has played this season.

That is the highest number for any player with at least five goals and assists combined.

The other two members of Tottenham’s fearsome front trio, Harry Kane and Son Heung-min are also posting some fantastic numbers this season.

Kane is the only other player in the Premier League apart from Bale to have more than one goal or assist per game, with the England captain second on the chart with 1.2 per 90 minutes.

Son also ranks very highly in the list, with the South Korean averaging an impressive 0.85 goals and assists per 90.

Spurs Web Opinion

If Bale can stay fit until the end of the season, we could certainly go on a brilliant run over the next couple of months. With the fearsome trio now all firing, we look capable of outscoring any side.
