Report: German clubs interested in Spurs star who is not part of Conte’s plans

The Telegraph have revealed that Dele Alli could be heading to the Bundesliga when the transfer window reopens in January.

Despite Antonio Conte speaking in glowing terms about Alli’s talent upon arriving at Spurs, the midfielder is yet to start a single Premier League game under the Italian.

It emerged on Monday that the Spurs head coach has given the club the green light to move the former MK Dons man on in January.

It was explained Spurs chairman Daniel Levy would ideally want a transfer fee for the midfielder but a loan move with an obligation or option to buy is also a possibility.

The Telegraph have now revealed several clubs have already registered an interest in Alli ahead of the January transfer window. The report states that Newcastle want to snap up the Spurs midfielder on loan.

In addition, it is stated that Alli is also attracting interest from Germany and that the 25-year-old would be open to moving abroad to resurrect his career.

Spurs Web Opinion

The Bundesliga might suit Dele quite well given that it is one of the few leagues in Europe where number tens like the Spurs man still continue to thrive. His physicality and athleticism would hold him in good stead in Germany.

In addition, I feel playing at a team like Bayer Leverkusen or RB Leipzig, who create a lot of chances, would be a better fit for Dele than sides like Everton or Newcastle, who defend with men behind the ball.
