Report: Getafe are ‘already considering’ a move for out-of-favour Spurs man

Marca have claimed that Getafe are the latest club plotting a move for Tottenham winger Bryan Gil ahead of the summer transfer window.

Gil has struggled for game time under Ange Postecoglou this season and it has been widely reported over recent weeks that the Spaniard is ready to leave the club.

However, multiple sources, including Fabrizio Romano, have explained that the 23-year-old is not interested in a loan move and is looking for a permanent switch to a side with a suitable project.

Over the last couple of weeks, Gil’s former club Sevilla (Vamos Mi Sevilla FC) as well as Eredivisie giants Feyenoord (1908.nl) have allegedly expressed interest in the player.

Getafe enter the race for Tottenham’s Bryan Gil

Marca have now claimed that Getafe are now ready to enter the race to sign the Tottenham attacker.

It is explained that having now secured their La Liga status, the club have already begun preparing for the upcoming transfer window as they look to bring in several reinforcements.

One of the players who they have set their sights on is Gil, with the Spanish side ‘already considering’ a move for the winger.

The publication adds that the Spain international is frustrated with his situation at Spurs and the Getafe may try to take advantage and land him on a discount.

Both Gil and Lo Celso are not going to have any shortage of suitors from Spain this summer since both players have proven themselves on loan in La Liga not too long ago. Tottenham will be hoping that a bidding war ensues for the pair and pushes up their price.
