Report: Giovani Lo Celso’s impressive stats on his full Tottenham debut

It was a dream full debut for Tottenham Hotspur’s Giovani Lo Celso last night in the Champions League as he took to the pitch against Red Star Belgrade.

Not only did the Argentine playmaker put in a sensational performance in a Spurs shirt but he also grabbed the opener for the North London side, kickstarting the 4-0 thumping.

Lo Celso’s decisive and positive passing was a big feature of Tottenham’s play last night in Serbia and his stats from the match really do speak for themselves (WhoScored).

Lo Celso had a passing completion rate of just below 90%, as well as making two key passes during the game (Only Dele Alli had more with three).

Lo Celso had more touches of the ball than any other player on the pitch with 102 and only had one piece of bad control.

The Argentine even made the most tackles on the pitch with five, blocking one shot, and being fouled once himself.

Finally, Lo Celso managed three shots, with one on target and one goal.

What a game from the new signing!
