Report gives update on when Moussa Sissoko and Heung Min Son may return

Tottenham Hotspur have been without some key players in recent weeks, with the likes of Heung-min Son, Harry Kane, and Moussa Sissoko all out injured.

To put that into context, all three of these players started in the Champions League Final last year for Tottenham and are integral members of the consistent starting XI.

Kane and Sissoko both picked up long-term injuries against Southampton on New Years Day, while Sonny fractured his arm earlier this month against Aston Villa. All three went on the require surgery on their respective injuries.

While all the talk over the past 24 hours has been about a report revealing that Kane should be back within six weeks, The Sun also commented on the return of Son and Sissoko.

They claim that Tottenham are now confident that both players will be back to play a part this season before the end of the campaign.

This comes despite the fact that Mourinho hinted he would not rely on Son again in the 2019/20 season (ESPN).
