Report: Spurs star back in training and could face Burnley

Tottenham Hotspur have been without Harry Kane for almost exactly one month, after he picked up another ankle injury against Manchester United in January.

This came at a pivotal point in the season for Spurs, with key Premier League, Carabao Cup, FA Cup, and Champions League fixtures on the go.

Although Spurs were knocked out of both domestic cups in Kane’s absence, the club have not dropped a single point in the Premier League in this time.

They also managed to smash three past German League leaders Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League with no reply.

The Evening Standard now report that Kane took part in light first team training at the weekend, and could now feature against Burnley on Saturday.

It is likely that this would be from the bench, and only for a few minutes you would think, but a positive step to getting Kane back fit and firing as Spurs look to pile the pressure on both Liverpool and Manchester City while also keeping their European campaign alive.
