Report: Harry Kane braced for at least a month out injured

Tottenham Hotspur could not have had a worse result if they tried on Sunday evening as they took on Manchester United at Wembley.

Spurs put up a good fight against the Red Devils, but one defensive slip, and a host of missed chances came back to bite them as the lost 1-0.

This defeat saw City and Liverpool race away once again, and the likes of Chelsea and Man United make up ground on the injury-struck Spurs.

To make matters worse, Tottenham saw two of their key men leave the field injured during the United tie, and they just so happened to be in the two positions Tottenham have no cover.

Moussa Sissoko withdrew in the first 45, before Harry Kane was seen hobbling from the pitch at full time.

The Guardian now report that Kane is braced for an absence of over four weeks, which would see him miss the crucial Champions League tie against Dortmund.

Kane has suffered from ankle injuries before, and his usual time out ranges between four and six weeks.
