Report: Harry Kane has now turned down a move to one club this summer

Bild have claimed that Harry Kane has rejected the chance to join Bayern Munich this summer.

The German outlet points out that The Sun reported a couple of days ago that Kane does not wish to leave England and that he would stay at Spurs if a move to Manchester United is not on the cards this summer.

They reveal that this information is very similar to what they have heard from their own sources, who now suggest that the Tottenham man does not want a move to the Allianz Arena.

Bild state that Kane was Bayern Munich‘s ‘number one’ striker target this summer, which is why his latest decision comes as as ‘very bitter pill’ for the Bundesliga giants to swallow.

The outlet adds that although Bayern were reluctant to spend big on the England captain, they had hoped that he could perhaps run his contract down and then move to Germany in 2024.

However, it is explained even that seems unlikely now as Kane has his eye set on breaking Alan Shearer’s Premier League goals record.

This update from the Bild comes on the back of a report from 90 min on Wednesday, which suggested that many of Europe’s top clubs are of the belief that the 29-year-old will be at Tottenham next season.

A move outside the Premier League has never really been on the cards for Kane this summer.

At this point, the most likely scenario seems to be that the striker will remain at Tottenham without signing a new deal, thus keeping his options open heading into next season.
