Harry Kane has reportedly signed a new contract but not the one Spurs fans were hoping for, with news emerging that the striker has penned a lifetime boot deal with Sketchers.
After Tottenham rejected Bayern Munich’s latest €100m (£86m) latest offer for Kane, The Daily Mail reported on Monday that the striker now looks increasingly likely to stay at Spurs.
However, the publication added that the 30-year-old is expected to see out his contract and leave on a free next summer, and does not have any intention of penning a new deal for the time being.
Meanwhile, The Evening Standard also reported this morning that Kane is now leaning towards remaining at Tottenham, with the striker said to be enjoying working with Ange Postecoglou.
If he does stay this summer, Spurs fans will be hoping that the striker changes his mind and commits his future to the club if he sees signs of progress under the Australian.
New lifetime boot deal for Harry Kane
Footy Headlines have now revealed that Kane has indeed penned a long-term commitment, not with his boyhood club, but with Skechers.
The publication reveals that Skechers have a performance department that produces high-end running shoes and golf shoes, and it is likely that Kane’s football boots belong to the Skechers Performance range.
The Tottenham man is alleged to have debuted the new boots in a friendly match against Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday.

If Kane did debut the new Sketchers boots against Shakhtar, he certainly could not have hoped for a much better trial run, with the striker netting four goals against the Ukrainian side.
