Report: Harry Kane is currently not in the UK – When he returns revealed

According to The Telegraph, Harry Kane is currently in Florida and will only arrive back in the UK later this week.

Reports emerged on Monday that Kane had not shown up at Hotspur Way for his COVID tests in an effort to put pressure on Tottenham to allow him to leave this summer.

City are thought to be confident of securing a deal for the England captain and are allegedly prepared to play the waiting game as the player turns up the pressure on Spurs.

However, The Daily Mail claimed on Tuesday that the 28-year-old was actually self-isolating at home after returning from holiday earlier this week.

The report explained that the England captain can only return to training after taking a five-day Covid test.

If The Telegraph’s latest report is to be believed, Kane is yet to arrive in the UK. It is alleged that the Spurs star made a pit-stop in Florida on his way back from the Caribbean.

With Florida also on the UK government’s amber travel list, the striker is required to self-isolate upon returning to London.

The report adds that Tottenham are aware of Kane’s movements and are disappointed that he did not report to Hotspur Way back on Monday.

Irrespective of whether Kane is still in Florida or self-isolating in the UK, the striker clearly wanted to send a message to the club by not turning up. Unfortunately for him, his antics have likely made it harder for him to secure a transfer by antagonising Daniel Levy.
