Dan Kilpatrick has reported that Harry Kane now plans to stay at Tottenham Hotspur if an agreement with Bayern Munich cannot be reached swiftly.
Bayern bosses flew to London yesterday for talks with Daniel Levy about the England captain, but the two clubs remain around £25m apart in their valuations of the striker (David Ornstein).

Harry Kane will stay at Spurs if Bayern miss deadline
The Evening Standard now claim that if now deal has been agreed with Bayern or any other interested party by Tottenham’s opening game against Brentford, Harry Kane will stay at his boyhood club.
Kane does not believe it would be fair on Ange Postecoglou to disrupt his season once a ball is kicked in the Premier League, and would thus enter the final year of his contract instead.
However, it is added that Spurs themselves are not putting a deadline on deciding the future of their star man.
Spurs Web Opinion:
This is good to hear, but in my opinion, Spurs should also be setting a deadline for Bayern Munich. Pay what we want you to pay in the next week or the shop is closed for the summer. Tottenham do not need this saga to disrupt the start of the campaign.
