Report: Harry Kane optimistic over his future after fresh dialogue between Spurs and Man City

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is optimistic that his future will have more clarity after the club have faced Manchester City in their opening Premier League fixture on Sunday, according to The Telegraph.

It has been reported that there has been interaction between the two clubs this week over the England captain.

The Premier League champions are said to value Kane in the region of £120million, which would eclipse the £100million they spent on Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish earlier this month.

Tottenham remain insistent that they are not prepared to sell Kane, who still has three years to run on his current contract.

Kane is expected to link up with his Tottenham teammates in training tomorrow after undertaking his day-five PCR test, following his recent holiday and has been self-isolating at the club’s Lodge accomodation, which is located adjacent to the training ground.

The 28-year-old’s situation in North London has been described as “extremely sensitive” with the player desperate to make the move to the Etihad.

Kane is losing the respect of the North London faithful at a rate of knots, with the whole situation causing to be a huge distraction to Nuno Espirito Santo’s preparations for the new season.

If he wants to leave the club, he should just come out and say so, rather than trying to keep the supporters on his side while his intention is to move to City.
