Report: Harry Kane ‘poised’ to take to the field for Tottenham

Harry Kane is poised to make his first appearance of the season for Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow evening, according to The Guardian.

Tottenham make the trip to Portugal today ahead of the Europa Conference League play off round first leg against Paços de Ferreira.

Kane returned to full training with his Tottenham teammates yesterday for the first time since returning from his holiday.

The 28-year-old trained separately from Nuno Espirito Santo’s side last Friday and Saturday, with the two sessions instead focused on the preparations for the victory over Manchester City on Sunday.

The report claims that Kane is ready to take to the field for Tottenham, despite still wanting to complete a move to Manchester City and still believes he has a gentleman’s agreement with chairman Daniel Levy to make the switch.

Kane needs to live up to his mantle of being the model professional and show if he plays against the Portuguese that he is ready to knuckle down and respect the decision that Daniel Levy makes.

Nobody forced Harry to sign a six-year contract, it was his decision and that of his brother – with three years left on the deal still to run, the power rests with the club.
