Report: Harry Kane presents thoughtful gifts to his teammates after breaking record

Harry Kane has given his England teammates a gift to commemorate his breaking of the international goalscoring record, and the contributions the players around him had on his way to the achievement.

Since making his England debut back in 2015, Kane has gone on to rack up 55 goals in 82 appearances for the Three Lions (Transfermarkt).

Kane moved past Wayne Rooney at the top of the list for England’s all-time goalscorers back in March of this year and has not looked back since.

The 29-year-old also surpassed Jimmy Greaves’ long-standing record as Tottenham Hotspur‘s all-time leading goalscorer this year (GOAL) in what has been a phenomenal campaign for the England captain.

The England squad are preparing for their next round of fixtures this summer, with a doubleheader of Euro 2024 qualifiers coming up against Malta and North Macedonia.

Kane will look to add to his tally in those games and help his country edge closer to qualifying for the tournament.

In the build-up to the games, Harry Kane has carried out a lovely gesture for his England teammates who have assisted him on his journey to becoming the country’s all-time top goalscorer.

On his Twitter, Kane revealed framed commemorative vinyl records with a message for his friends.

He said: “I couldn’t have broken the all-time goalscoring record without the support of my team-mates and managers who have helped me along the way.

“This gift is a massive thank you from me to all those who I’ve shared a changing room with since my debut. Thank you.”
