Speculation about Harry Kane’s future at Tottenham Hotspur has come back to the forefront over the past twenty four hours.
The Sun reported on Thursday evening that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy had performed a u-turn and was now prepared to allow the England international to move to Manchester City in a £160million transfer.
The BBC have played down the suggestion that the Premier League champions could outlay £160million this summer to bring Kane to the Eithad, claiming that sources have made it clear that City will not stretch to such a high figure.
It is also reported the 27-year-old has decided he would like a fresh challenge in order to fulfil his ambitions, however, he has not at any stage handed in a transfer request or directly informed the club of his desire to leave.
