Report: Harry Kane seeking eye-watering personal terms as part of move to Bayern Munich

Harry Kane is believed to be seeking a staggering £600,000-a-week in wages at his next club, should he leave Tottenham Hotspur in the current transfer window, according to Football Insider.

Bayern Munich Jan-Christian Dreesen and technical director Marco Neppe are due in London today to discuss a move for the England captain with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.

Tottenham only arrived back in the capital on Thursday following their pre-season tour of Asia-Pacific tour which ended with a 5-1 win over Lion City Sailors, with the Bundesliga club wasting little time in waiting to sit down around the negotiating table with Levy.

Harry Kane wants £600,000-a-week contract at Bayern Munich

Kane earns a reported £200,000-a-week as part of his current deal in North London, which is set to come to an end next summer with the marksman said to be not prepared to put pen to paper on a new contract (Sky Sports) and his new demands would see him pocket a significant pay rise.

Bayern are apparently confident that they will be able to land Kane as their new number nine, having been left without a focal point to their attack since Robert Lewandowski departed the Allianz Arena for Barcelona prior to the 2022/23 campaign.

Tottenham’s fresh contract offer to Kane was said to have been a big hike on his current earnings, where he could take home as much as £400,0oo-a-week if he decided to remain in North London (Telegraph).

If Bayern Munich are prepared to accept Kane’s contract demands, it would mean they have smashed the ceiling of their current wage structure with former Liverpool forward Sadio Mané their current top earner at £306,000-a-week (Salary Sport).
