Report: Harry Kane wants his future sorted this week – Even if it means staying at Spurs

Journalist Kaveh Solhekol has revealed that Harry Kane wants his future sorted out before Tottenham’s Premier League season opener against Brentford.

Even though there are only six days left until Spurs‘ campaign gets underway, there is still no clarity on whether Kane will be at the club next season.

Fabrizio Romano explained in his latest YouTube video that Daniel Levy has not yet responded to Bayern Munich’s latest €100m (£86.2m) offer which was submitted on Friday.

The journalist revealed that even though the German club are not happy at Tottenham continuing to drag the saga on, they remain optimistic about getting the transfer over the line.

Harry Kane wants his future sorted this week

Solhekol has now told Sky Sports Football Daily that Kane does not want the saga to drag on beyond this week.

The striker allegedly feels that it would be disrespectful to the club and the fans if he were to play against Brentford and then end up leaving.

Additionally, Solhekol reveals that the 30-year-old’s wife, Kate, is due to give birth in a couple of weeks and she cannot travel if the deal is not sorted out soon.

Spurs Web Opinion

The fact that Tottenham have not yet rejected Bayern’s €100m offer (unlike the German club’s previous two offers which were swiftly sent back), suggests that the Lilywhites are seriously considering accepting it.

I would not be surprised if we see some concrete developments on Kane’s future over the next couple of days.
