Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane is weighing up whether to hand in a formal transfer request, according to The Independent.
It is claimed that the transfer request could be submitted in the next few days, however it is not said to have any impact on Tottenham’s stance over the striker’s future.
Kane has not been present at Tottenham’s Hotspur Way training facility this week, having missed the sessions on Monday and Tuesday when he should have reported for duty.
The Athletic revealed earlier today that the 28-year-old has no intention to train or play for Tottenham again and has his heart set on a move to Manchester City.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has been left furious over the situation, together with the recent report that Kane was set to move to the Etihad in a £160million deal after Levy has apparently relaxed his deicsion (The Sun) and may have even upped his transfer fee by around £50million.
It appears that Kane has been badly advised in the situation to stay away from the club, after all, it was his brother Charlie and his own decision to sign a six-year contract extension in 2018.
