Report: Harry Kane’s agents have increased pressure on Spurs this week

Sport 1 journalist Kerry Hau has said that Harry Kane’s entourage have ‘increased the pressure significantly’ on the Tottenham hierarchy since Monday to make a decision.

A couple of hours ago, Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg revealed that Bayern have now submitted an offer of €100m (£86.2m) for Harry Kane.

The journalist added that the Bundesliga side are now expecting a response from Tottenham within hours.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports News subsequently revealed that the aforementioned offer would be the final one by Bayern for Kane, with the German club ready to move on to other targets if it is turned down.

Harry Kane’s entourage putting pressure on Levy

Hau has now claimed that the latest €100m (£86.2m) offer is seen as ‘more than fair’ by Bayern, who are now ready to abandon their pursuit of the England captain if it is not accepted by Spurs.

The journalist adds that Kane’s representatives have now increased pressure on the Tottenham hierarchy and are pushing for a decision.

Hau asserts that either Kane will arrive at the Allianz Arena in time to play for Bayern in their Supercup against Leipzig on August 12 or he will remain at Tottenham next season and feature for the club against Brentford on August 13.

Spurs Web Opinion

I do not think this sort of ultimatum from Bayern would have the desired effect on Levy, who would likely be willing to push this deal into the final weeks of the window in order to get as high a fee as possible. I believe the Tottenham chairman will call the German club’s bluff.
