Report: Heung Min Son may be heading back to Asia this year

Tottenham Hotspur will not be huge fans of Asia-based competitions after this season, but the squad may be heading their for their 2019 pre season.

Spurs have had to wave goodbye to Heung Min Son twice this season as he jetted off to play with South Korea in multiple tournaments.

The in-form winger left Spurs for a month at the beginning of the season to lead his country to Asia Games gold, before leaving again in January to compete in the Asia Cup.

It looks as if Poch and Levy may want to take the whole squad on Son’s next trip to Asia, as the International Champions Cup schedule has thrown up the possibility of trips to Singapore and China (Football London).

Spurs will be hoping for a more successful pre-season than last season, when nine of their first team players were involved in the world cup at the semi-final level.
