Report highlights six Spurs players who would benefit from time away from North London next season

Football.London’s Rob Guest has backed Tottenham send six of their young guns out on loan next season on further their footballing careers.

Unsurprisingly among the players who have been recommended to head out on loan are striker Troy Parrott and winger Jack Clarke.

Parrott was said to be close to joining Charlton on loan in January but the move fell through due to a bizarre UEFA rule regarding the criteria to qualify as a homegrown player (Daily Mail).

Clarke barely saw any game time at Leeds United in the first half of the season and also struggled to break into the side QPR side before the season was suspended due to the pandemic. He has also been linked with a loan move to Celtic in the summer (Football Insider).

Centre back Malachi Fagan-Walcott and goalkeeper Alfie Whiteman have also been tipped to leave on loan while it is claimed that Luke Amos could spend another season away from North London.

However, the most surprising suggestion is perhaps Oliver Skipp, who has also been touted as player Jose Mourinho could loan out to get some experience under his belt, with the likes of Harry Winks, Giovani Lo Celso, Moussa Sissoko, Tanguy Ndombele and Gedson Fernandes ahead of him in the pecking order.

Spurs Web Opinion

While the first four names in the list are rather obvious candidates to be loaned out as they need experience, I suspect Luke Amos could be on his way out of the club permanently this summer. I also believe Skipp has enough talent to do a Tanganga and become a regular in the side next season. So, he could end up staying at the club.
