Having suffered the disappointment of defeat in the final of the Champions League, the Tottenham squad is likely to see a few comings and goings this summer.
Toby Alderweireld is among the players whose future has been subject to speculation (The Sun) and if he departs, it could see Spurs look to bring in a replacement.
The most recent defender to be linked with Tottenham is Turkish wonder kid Ozan Kabak. The Daily Mail report that the 19-year-old defender is attracting interest from Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United after Stuttgart suffered relegation from the Bundesliga.
There is reportedly a £13.2million release clause in the 19-year-old’s contract with Bayern Munich also said to have been monitoring his progress.
Stuttgart secured Kabak’s signature for £9.9million in January from Galatasaray (Daily Mail) and his performances in the last six months have impressed many onlookers.
The stylish central defender has been one of the few shining lights in what has been a disastrous season for the German club.

While I haven’t seen much of Kabak, this move doesn’t make too much sense given that there are two fantastic young defenders in Juan Foyth and Davinson Sanchez at the club already.
It would be preferable if the club convinced Toby to stay, and instead prioritised other areas to strengthen such as the midfield and full back positions.
