London World journalist Rahman Osman has revealed that Harry Kane is confident that even if he moves abroad for a couple of seasons, he can return to the Premier League and break Alan Shearer’s record.
On Tuesday, Bayern Munich reported launched an offer of €70m (£60.1m) plus add-ons for Kane, which was swiftly turned down by Tottenham (Ben Jacobs).

The Athletic reported yesterday that the Tottenham star is Thomas Tuchel’s number one target this summer and the Bundesliga club are ‘optimistic’ about getting a deal over the line.
The publication explained that while Spurs do not wish to lose Kane, the North London club have compiled a list of potential replacements for the centre-forward if he does leave, with the list said to include both experienced strikers and young, up-and-coming ones.
Kane is not thinking about Premier League record
Osman has now taken to social media to suggest that the 29-year-old is not concerned about a potential move to Germany ruining his chances of breaking Shearer’s record as he believes he can return to England after a couple of years to reach the milestone.
Been told too that Kane is confident that in the case he has to move abroad for a couple of seasons, he'd still be good enough to return and still get Alan Shearer's all-time record, so really it's all about the fee or risk Levy wants to take. https://t.co/cCtWJST2fh

Spurs Web Opinion
Kane will believe that he can play until his mid to late thirties, given the way he looks after himself and the fact that he is not reliant on his pace or athleticism.
So, the striker will probably be of the belief that he will have plenty of time to score the 48 more goals he needs to break Shearer’s record if he returns to the Premier League in two or three years.
