Report: How Mourinho could cash in on Kane to purchase six new first-team players

Kane’s future has been subject to a lot of speculation over recent weeks with the England captain said to be at the top of Manchester United’s wish list in the summer (Evening Standard).

Juventus are also said to be keen on signing the 26-year-old as they want him to partner Cristiano Ronaldo up front (Tuttosport).

However, a recent report in the Daily Star indicated that last season’s Champions League finalists are confident that they can hold onto Kane as they don’t believe any club can afford the striker in the summer.

talkSPORT now claims that the Spurs head coach could, in theory, cash in on his star striker in order to fund a massive rebuild in the summer.

The report suggests that Spurs could use the money from Kane’s sale to bring in the likes of Geoffrey Kondogbia, Marcel Sabitzer, Youcef Atal, Jamal Lewis, and Eder Militao.

Spurs Web Opinion

I personally don’t think there is any chance that we would sell Kane this summer given that he has four more years to run on his deal. However, I fear that the economic downturn caused by the coronavirus outbreak has seriously diminished our ability to spend big this summer.
